Undergraduate Internships

 

Pilot scheme to improve access to the professions

HEFCE is providing funding of approximately £500,000 for 500 undergraduate internships to improve access to the professions during summer 2010.

The aim of the initiative is to provide internships for undergraduates from disadvantaged or poorer backgrounds in order to try to improve access to the professions.

Applications for funding are invited from all HEFCE-funded HEIs and FECs with at least 100 directly funded FTEs. The deadline is 16 March 2010.
