AccessHE

Higher education (HE) is undergoing huge changes. The impact of these changes on who progresses to HE is uncertain. It is crucial that those committed to ensuring that learners from all backgrounds have the opportunity to reach HE work together.

AccessHE is a new organisation that aims to support the progression to HE of learners from groups in London presently under-represented in HE. It will embraces aspects of London Higher’s SHELL (School-HE Links in London) project and build on the work of the Aimhigher programme by enabling schools and colleges to provide the extra support their students from disadvantaged backgrounds need.

AccessHE is an independent organisation. It is not funded by government.Over 25 HEIs in London are working with AccessHE. We are also working with a number of universities outside the capital. AccessHE is also working with the Association of Colleges, the Association of Schools and College Leaders and the London Leadership Strategy team.
