The wide range of available opportunities include Open Days for prospective students, inspirational hands-on activities, summer schools, taster events, tutoring in schools, teaching and mentoring programmes and a Widening Participation School Visits Programme to help raise awareness of Higher Education.
Imperial College London has a long established reputation for delivering excellent outreach activities to school and college students enhanced by our partnership with Exscitec which improves the quality and volume of activity we can offer.

College Open Days
Imperial organises one Science and Engineering Open Day and three undergraduate Open Days for Medicine each year. These open days are intended to aid students with their decision on whether to study at Imperial and to show them what is offered by the different departments.

Demonstration lectures and campus tours
Organised on a monthly basis during term time, these are events open to the general public on a first come first served basis. The programme consists of a demonstration lecture by an Imperial academic followed by a talk and campus tour by Imperial undergraduate students.
