Social Engagement by London's HEIs
The 18 month project, funded by HEFCE, published a summary report in June 2009.
The project provided a baseline study of third stream activities from a sample of HEIs in London and commissioned market research for quantitative and qualitative data on use and perceptions of social engagement by HEIs.
The summary report and related documents can be downloaded from here.

School and Higher Education Links in London
Further to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) grant awarded last October to London Higher to support the DCSF in the delivery of School and Higher Education Links in London (SHELL), the SHELL delivery plan was submitted to the Minister for London Schools in April 2009.
We are currently discussing possible options for taking forward the recommendations. Click here to read more.

London Higher Business Development Unit
London Higher, together with project partners London First and the Learning and Skills Network submitted a funding proposal to HEFCE last autumn to establish the London Higher Business Development Unit (LHBDU).
This was accepted by HEFCE with some conditions including a requirement that a number of London HEIs make an up-front contribution.
The LHBDU is the largest initiative that London Higher has embarked upon to date and will add an exciting new dimension to the organisation. Click here to read more.

Teacher Education Microsite
