Vision for London 2008-2011

In July London Challenge published 'Vision for London 2008-2011 – London Education on the way to world class'.

The document contains a number of pledges - one was that by 2011 every maintained secondary school in London will have a partnership with a HEI.

Professor Malcolm Gillies,  Vice-Chancellor of City University London and elected Vice-Chair of London Higher, was given the role of 'Champion for HE Partnership in London' by Lord Adonis, the Minister who has charge of the London Challenge programme.

London Higher is currently exploring possible ways of working with the Department for Children, Schools and Families to help achieve the target.
