Key Facts: Destinations of Leavers
The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) annually collects employment and study data from graduates six months after they have completed their studies.
The latest figures for graduates from publicly-funded higher education institutions in London show that:
- 64% were working while 22% were carrying out further studies or combining work and further study, and 7% were assumed to be unemployed.
- 71% of working graduates were employed in the capital and 19% were employed in the East of England or the South East;
Further details and regional comparisons can be found in the Destinations of Leavers Key Factsheet (PDF: 0.3 MB).
Comments on the Factsheet should be sent to Paresh Shah. All media enquiries should be addressed to HESA and not London Higher.
