The London Taster Course Programme
This entry is unlike others in the Directory as the University of London does not teach undergraduates. However, The Careers Group, University of London, is very pleased to administer the annual London Taster Course Programme, now in its twentieth year.
Through this programme, Year 12 students looking towards attending university are given the opportunity to sample, within a university setting, the particular subjects they may be interested in studying.
The Programme provides over 160 taster courses in over 70 subject areas at 22 universities in the London area, 13 of which are colleges of the University of London joined by 9 others. Most of the tasters are held in late June or in July, but some run in April or at other times. The complete brochure is available from the Tasters website.
